COM 351: Video Production

COM 231: Documentary Research

  • Explored the American tradition of social documentaries, focusing on milestone projects.

  • Oral, visual, and textual modes of production were examined.  

  • Special focus on new digital forms of representation and their impact on production, distribution, and consumption. 

  • Introduced to the fundamental skills of investigative research, interviewing, gathering and interpreting information, and using print and electronic archives and research, and produced own multi-media documentary projects.
